How to Share Your Gaming Backlog: Public Profile and Shareable Link
A backlog is more fun when somebody else sees it. You can show a friend what you're playing, brag about a completion rate, or just keep one link in your bio instead of explaining your gaming habits again. NXTO has two ways to share.
1. A public profile page (opt-in)
Your profile lives at nxto.app/u/yourname. It is off by default. To enable it, open
Account and tick Make my profile public.
What visitors see
- Your username and the size of your library.
- Completion rate and hours played.
- Your top genres.
- What you're currently playing.
- Your favourite game: the one you rated highest.
What stays private
Your email, your full list, your notes, your folders, and anything on your account page. You can turn the page off again at any time and it disappears.
2. A shareable Steam backlog check
You don't need an account for this one. Run the Steam backlog calculator and it gives you a link with your numbers: games owned, games never launched, hours to clear. It's the fastest way to start a conversation in a Discord server. Run it only on a profile you're comfortable showing.
The link preview
Paste either link in Discord, Reddit, X or Telegram and you get a card with a generated image showing your numbers, so the link looks like something worth clicking. Profiles in other languages use translated text in the preview.
Ideas for using it
- Put your profile in a Reddit “backlog” thread and ask what to play next.
- Share it with a friend when you pick a co-op game; both sides see what the other already played.
- Use it as a public commitment: “I'll get this completion rate to 40% by December.”
