About Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
A stealth action game for PSP set as a Metal Gear Solid prequel, following Naked Snake as he recruits soldiers and infiltrates a hijacked military base.
Snake has appeared on PSP twice already, thanks to the classy Metal Gear Acid series of card battling games, but Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops is the first time the classic gameplay of the more established Metal Gear Solid series has been available on the format. Following on from the epic events of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (PlayStation 2), Portable Ops finds Naked Snake in South America, struggling to defuse a missile crisis triggered by his former unit, FOXHOUND.
