NXTO Premium: What's Included, What It Costs, and Is It Worth It?
NXTO is free: tracking, Steam import and sync, stats, similar games, series and public profiles cost nothing. Premium is a small extra for people who use the AI picks a lot or want to sort their library with folders. Here is exactly what's in it.
What is free
- Unlimited backlog tracking with statuses, priorities and ratings.
- Steam import, daily playtime sync and optional auto-add.
- Stats and the activity heatmap.
- Similar games, the Series tab and algorithmic recommendations.
- Public profile and the Steam backlog calculator.
- One free AI pick per account.
What Premium adds
A monthly allowance of AI picks
The AI pick reads your real backlog and ratings, and takes your mood into account (“something short and cozy”). Premium includes 30 picks every month. Credits are added with each paid month.
Custom folders
Group your library by mood, occasion or project. See how folders work.
Price
Premium is billed monthly (currently about $3 a month). You can cancel at any time in the billing portal from your account page, and Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Folders you created stay visible if you cancel.
If you only want a few AI picks, you don't need a subscription: one-off packs of picks are available as well.
Who it is for
- Yes if you ask “what should I play?” often, or have a large library you want to group.
- Probably not if you just track games and want the occasional recommendation — the free features and one free pick cover that.
How it compares
Most trackers put the basics behind a paywall or run on ads. NXTO keeps the tracking free, because that is what makes the app useful, and charges only for the parts that cost real money to run (AI) or are a power-user convenience (folders).
